The Great Outdoors

Wow....let me tell you, I have an extensive collection of Stampscapes! As a matter of fact, I think I have every stamp, large, small and in-between, that Kevin ever came out with! I've been ignoring them for years ever since I discovered Maggies, but, lately, I'm really enjoying using them again. I started my stamping experience with Stampscapes and I think they make such great masculine cards....something that I just can't accomplish with Maggies....LOL! I just finished this scene and I used lots of stamps for this one. Hope you like it! Thanks so much for visiting my blog. I love your comments. Hugs, Christina

More Scenery Cards

First and foremost, I would like to thank you for stopping by.....it is truly appreciated. As promised, I'd like to share a tropical scene inspired by Kevin. Hope you like it! At the same time, I also made a scene card with a lighthouse. I love to visit lighthouses and hope to do so in the future. I loved visiting Maine in the past where they have some really neat lighthouses.

I'm not entirely happy with the way this one turned out and when hubby saw the other one, he laughed out loud.....said that is NOT the Aurora Borealis! Hahahahahaha I mentioned artistic license and left it at that!!!!!

Lakeside Cabin

Hello everyone and a very happy Monday to you! Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. Today I'd like to share another Stampscapes card I just finished. I made a 6x6 card earlier and then sprayed it with a fixative. Well, the fish and the boat became blurry because I made the mistake of stamping those two images with Momento Ink instead of StazOn. I'll show you the result:
You can clearly see the difference. Notice how blurry those two images got after I sprayed them??????

Night Scene

Good Morning fellow crafters! Thank you so much for visiting my humble blog. Today, I'd like to share a scene inspired by Kevin (the owner of "Stampscapes"). It is a night scene and I used 8 stamps to create this scene. The glowing orbs are supposed to represent fireflies. I created them with white gel pen and then applied Archival Brilliance Moonlight White over it with a Q-tip. I really love the effect. Kevin used a different technique, but, honestly, I did not like it as well. I also used a Stylus Tool to apply the ink....something I've never used before. I always applied the ink with stipple brushes. Hope you like it! Hugs, Christina

Another Masculine Card

Gosh, if you stopped by my blog, I want to first and foremost thank you!!! I think my Stampscapes are perfect for "man" cards....always a challenge for me! It just takes a lot longer than most other cards because it's not just one stamp...it takes many stamps to create a scene. I hope you like it! Here is the inside of the card:

Soar

Good Morning and thank you so much for visiting my humble blog! Today, I'd like to share another new image from Saturated Canary....just looooove 'em!!!!! This lovely image is colored with copics. I just decided to let go on this one without any regard to light source or anything else...hahahahaha I just followed the lines where the creases should be and that's it. I did a little highlighting with Opaque White and I used papers from Farm House Paper Company. Hope you like it!
