Inventory Challenge #16

Good morning everyone! Wow, I can't believe I haven't posted anything since last Friday....I guess I've been in a creative slump!
It is time once again for Danielle and I to welcome you to our Inventory Challenge.
Our theme for this week is based on the song "Hey, Good Lookin', Whatcha got Cookin'..." Of course, I get to use some of my stamps from the Magnolia Yummy for your Tummy Collection, available at Diana's Magnolia-licious Store.

For this challenge, I decided to make a tri-shutter card. I colored Edwin with distress inks.....not happy with the result! I went back to copics with Tilda because the inks version was a total debacle. Coloring with inks is not an easy venue to learn....it takes practice, practice, practice!!!
The papers I used are from multiple sources: DCWV, Magnolia and Graphics 45.
The beautiful heart lace was a gift from my wonderful friend, Claudia. Thanks so much Sweetie...love it!

I would like to invite you to visit my wonderful friend and teammate, Danielle, and view her stunning work, as well as the fabulous works of our other teammates, Charlene, Rene and Sandy.
Thanks you so much for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I appreciate each and every one of you! Hugs!

Inventory Challenge #15

Good morning everyone! All I can say this morning is Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....it is frightfully cold here.....-30 wind chill!!!!!! If I didn't HAVE go out this morning, I most certainly wouldn't!

Danielle and I welcome you to our Inventory Challenge #15. This time, the theme of our challenge is based on the song "What a Wonderful Thing Love Is...."
I thought it was very appropriate in view of the fact that everyone is busy working on Valentine cards.
My little scene displays a Magnolia tree and Tilda and Edwin under the Mistletoe...works great for Valentine too....those little Maggies are so versatile!
You may purchase these cuties at Diana's Magnolia-licious store. I just checked and I was unable to locate them, but if you email her, she will most certainly get them for you!
The papers I used are once again from Imaginisce...still have 22 sheets left.
The gorgeous flower was a gift from my wonderful friend, Jacque. Love, love it!!!
All images were colored with copics.

Please drop by Danielle's blog and view her gorgeous work of art, as well as the gorgeous works of our teammates, Charlene and Rene.
Wowwwwww, we have a new team member......welcome Sandy. So glad I checked my email this morning before posting.
Thank you so much for visiting and I am so appreciative of all your comments!
Love, Christina

Hjertbodensjuleblogg...3 Christmas cards

Good morning everyone...wishing you all a wonderful day! I just finished three cards for the Hjertebodensjuleblogg which features Christmas cards all year long. I'm actually embarrassed to show my cards because they have some beautiful works of art on that blog!!!!
I received some Papilio stamps from my wonderful friend Jacque for Christmas....I simply adore those stamps...thank you so much, Sweetie!!!!
I utilized a wonderful sketch by TINEKE which she created for Shop Crea Duymelot for my "Getting the Tree" card....I just love this sketch and I will be using it often.
The wonderful papers are designed by Gudrun Loennecken of Norway. The die is by Nellie Snellen.
"Herman Returning from Town" is another Papilio stamp. Papers for that card are BG Wassail.
I saw this fabulous tag card on my friend Claudia's blog and I tried to copy it.
Not sure if the dimensions are correct, but it seems to work. The gorgeous papers stand on their own....I simply could not add an image! They are Melissa Frances papers. The snowflake is by Jolee and the lace from my stash.
All images were colored with copics.
Thank you so much for visiting and I appreciate all the comments you leave. Thank you! Wishing you a creative day! Hugs, Christina

Inventory Challenge #14

Good morning everyone and a very happy Friday! It is time for another Inventory Challenge. Today Danielle and I invite you to our 14th challenge and the theme today is based on the song "Happy Days are Here Again......"!
What comes to mind....my mind, that is.....???? CHOCOLATE!!!!!
OK, OK, I know I may have a warped mind, but keep in mind also that chocolate is known to induce the feeling of well-being and elation. Oh, I can give you an easy explanation for my psychotic state of mind. My hubby was recently diagnosed with borderline diabetes and now all sweets are off the menu. Sob.......!!!!! Obviously, this state of affairs explains why I wake up with chocolate on my mind!
Boy, do I feel good when I can indulge in some luscious chocolate...yummy!!!!!
I know that Tilda and Edwin dancing would have been the "perfect" choice, but I decided to go with my first instinct.
This cute Tilda is new and I don't know her name yet! She is sitting on a box of chocolates by Alota. By the way, that box of chocolates is now available in a mini size for the new mini Maggies! The paper was purchased many years ago and is from Imaginisce. I used a MS border heart punch and Nesties,as well as a Cuttlebug heart embossing folder.
I would like to invite you to visit Danielle and view her magnificent work of art, as well as our other teammates, Charlene and Rene. I'm sure they will have something wonderful to show you!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. I am so appreciative!!

Edwin Takes Center Stage and Great Big Thank You to Ruby

A BIG THANK YOU to my incredibly talented friend RUBY!!!!!! She gave me this wonderful "Stylish Blogger Award" (don't know that I deserve it!)
Due to time constraints (having work done in my house this week), I am unable to fulfill the requirements for this lovely award. I am so honored and touched, dear Ruby, for naming me!!! Love you, Sweetie!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

I decided it's time to give Edwin center stage, so I entered this handsome man in the Shop Crea Duymelot contest which requires the use of a Maggie stamp and the colors brown/blue. The contest will be in effect until January 31st. The sketch was provided by TINEKE. Edwin is from the new winter kit.
The papers are all from my stash.....no identifying name on the back, so I can't give credit to the designer. The corner adorner is from Megahobby and the brown glitter paper for the swirl was a gift from my dear friend, Danielle.

Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you have a wonderful day. Hugs!!!
